We believe in providing a thorough, detailed assessment for every patient so that the best possible course of treatment can be taken and a comprehensive report can be written if needed. Every patient will be booked with the appropriate specialist Occupational Therapist to achieve this.

The assessment can take place in the clinic or at home and will consist of taking a detailed subjective history from the patient. This process may also involve family or carers if the patient is unable to answer all the questions themselves. The second part of the assessment would consist of an objective assessment so that the Occupational Therapist can understand the patient's physical abilities. The Occupational Therapist will then explain their findings to the patient and family or carers and what they think is the best course of action. They will then be able to provide a report of their findings or recommendations and/or begin treatment for the patient.
